Hiking and biking trails
It is pleasant to stroll by bike or on foot, along the Atlantic coast with your family in order to discover varied landscapes. Many marked circuits await you for your walk. Put on your most comfortable shoes and enjoy a walk or bike ride in the heart of nature.
The circuits around your campsite
By bike :
- La boucle des mégalithes (33km) : bike route passing by Avrillé, Le Bernard, Longeville-sur-Mer, Jard-sur-Mer, Saint-Vincent-sur-Jard et Saint-Hilaire-la-Forêt, you will discover several megalithic sites (dolmens, menhirs and alignments of menhirs).
- Around the trees – lac de Finfarine (16,5km) : stroll to discover the heritage riches of the town of Poiroux (lac de Finfarine, barrage de Sorin et passage sur le pont de Garnaud).
Walk :
- Menhirs and dolmens (6,8 km) : discovery route of the megalithic heritage (King of the Menhirs, alignments of the Bois de Fourgon …) and history (covered market, wash house, Saint-Pierre church …) of Avrillé.
- La Frébouchère (8,7 km) : hiking trail on Avrillé and the Bernard, along shaded paths and a stream, to discover the dolmens of Savatole (which includes 3 dolmens) and the dolmen of Frébouchère.
